On a commercial contract the scaffold is rarely the biggest line on the valuation, but it's one of the fastest ways to lose a fortnight. A gang that doesn't show, a design that comes back three times, an inspection record that can't be produced when the client's H&S advisor walks on site — any of those costs you far more than the scaffold did.
Ridge 3 is set up to be the boring, reliable part of your programme. We quote off drawings or a site visit, confirm the lead time in writing, and hold it. Where the configuration falls outside TG20:21 we get a bespoke design with calculations produced before you're committed, not after you've already sequenced around it.
- Priced off drawings or site survey — send us the elevations and we'll return a full itemised quotation, usually within 24 hours.
- Programme-aligned mobilisation. We agree the erection window against your programme and flag clashes early rather than on the day.
- Phased erection and adaptation as the build progresses, priced per lift so you can sequence with confidence.
- Full compliance pack — RAMS, design or TG20:21 compliance sheet, handover certificate, inspection reports, insurance certificate.
- We work to your systems. Permit to work, site induction, CSCS/CISRS carded operatives, your PPE standard, your reporting.
- Clear variation pricing so an extra lift is a known number, not a battle at final account.

Design & compliance
TG20:21 compliance sheets as standard; bespoke design with calculations from a qualified scaffold design engineer where the job needs it.
Statutory inspections
Inspected at intervals not exceeding seven days, after alteration and after adverse weather. Reports issued to you for your file.
Insurance & documentation
Public liability cover, RAMS issued before mobilisation, and handover certificates before anyone works from the scaffold.
Logistics handled
Highways licences, lighting and guarding, delivery sequencing and compound access — our problem, not yours.
Edge protection & loading
Integrated edge protection, loading bays, stair towers and material hoisting designed into the package from the start.

FAQs
Commercial scaffolding — your questions
Can you price from drawings without a site visit?
Yes — send elevations, a site plan and any relevant sections and we can produce a quotation from those. For anything with tricky ground conditions, restricted access or uncertain tie availability we'd strongly recommend a survey as well, and it's free, so there's no reason not to.
Are your operatives CISRS carded?
Yes. Scaffolders working on our contracts hold current CISRS cards appropriate to the work they're doing, and we can supply copies for your site records ahead of mobilisation along with our insurance certificate and RAMS.
Can you work to our RAMS and permit systems?
Yes. We issue our own RAMS for the scaffolding works, but we'll work within your permit to work system, site rules, induction process and reporting requirements without making a meal of it.
What are your payment terms on commercial contracts?
Terms are agreed contract by contract and confirmed in writing in the quotation. We're straightforward about it — we'd rather agree the terms clearly at the start than end up in a dispute at final account.
Do you take on framework or multi-site agreements?
Yes, and it's the kind of work we're set up to grow into. If you have a rolling programme across several sites, talk to us about a framework arrangement with agreed rates and guaranteed response times.
