Ridge 3 Scaffolding

About us

Built to be the scaffolder people actually recommend

Ridge 3 is a new name, run by people who have been on site long enough to know exactly what makes a scaffolding firm worth using twice.

Our approach

The industry's reputation is the opportunity.

Ask any contractor or homeowner about their last scaffolding firm and you'll usually get a story. Late. Untidy. Priced one thing, invoiced another. Paperwork that never arrived.

That's the whole reason Ridge 3 exists. We're not claiming to reinvent scaffolding — the tube and fittings are the same as everyone else's. What we're doing differently is running it like a proper business: quotes back within a day, dates that hold, documentation issued without being chased, and crews who look and behave like professionals on your site.

We're a new company and we're honest about that. What we're not new to is scaffolding. Every job we take on right now is building the reputation the business runs on, which means you'll struggle to find a contractor working harder to get it right.

What we stand on

Four things we don't compromise on

Safety, properly

Not a poster in the office. Designed structures, RAMS before mobilisation, handover certificates, and inspections every seven days without being reminded.

Honest pricing

Itemised written quotes with erection, hire, adaptations and dismantle priced separately. The number you agree is the number you get invoiced.

Dates we hold

If we can't hit your date we'll tell you on the first call. If something changes, you get a phone call — not silence and a no-show.

Standards on site

Branded, in full PPE, tidy, courteous. On a domestic job that means respecting someone's home. On a commercial site it means we make you look good.

Compliance

The paperwork that keeps you out of trouble

If the HSE walks onto your site, the scaffold is one of the first things they look at. Here's what you get from us as standard, on every job.

  • Risk assessment and method statement issued before we mobilise.
  • TG20:21 compliance sheet, or a bespoke design with structural calculations where the structure falls outside it.
  • Handover certificate issued on completion, before anyone works from the scaffold.
  • Statutory inspections at intervals not exceeding seven days, after any alteration and after adverse weather — all recorded and sent to you.
  • Scaff tags fitted so anyone on site can see instantly whether the scaffold is safe to use.
  • Insurance certificate available on request, before we start.

The name

Why Ridge 3?

A ridge is the highest line on a roof — the point everything else is measured from. It's where scaffolders spend their working lives, and it's a decent shorthand for the standard we're setting the business to.

Based in Yorkshire. Working across the UK.
