Accessibility Statement

We want anyone to be able to use this website, whatever device they're on and however they browse. This statement sets out where we've got to and what to do if something isn't working for you.

1. What we've done

This site has been built with accessibility in mind from the start. Specifically:

• Semantic HTML structure with a single, logical heading order on every page.
• A "skip to content" link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
• Full keyboard operability — every link, button, menu and form field can be reached and used without a mouse.
• Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
• Text and background colours chosen to meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios for body text.
• Form fields with properly associated labels, and required fields clearly marked.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
• Responsive layout that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px, and supports browser zoom to 200%.
• Motion and animation disabled automatically for anyone whose device requests reduced motion.
• No auto-playing audio or video, and no content that flashes.

2. How accessible this site is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We believe the site substantially meets that standard, but we haven't yet commissioned a formal third-party audit, so we can't claim full conformance. If we become aware of a problem, we'll fix it and note it here.

3. Known limitations

• Some project photographs are currently placeholders. When real images are added we will ensure each has meaningful alternative text.
• Any documents we send you by email, such as quotations or inspection reports, may be PDFs that are not fully accessible. If you need information in a different format, just ask — see below.

4. Getting information another way

If you need anything on this site — or any document we'd normally email — in a different format such as large print, plain text, audio or an accessible PDF, contact us and we'll provide it. There is no charge, and we'll aim to respond within five working days.

5. Reporting a problem

If you find something on this site that you can't use, please tell us. Let us know the page, what you were trying to do, and what went wrong — including the device, browser or assistive technology you were using if you know it. We take it seriously and we'll come back to you.

6. Enforcement

If you contact us with a complaint about accessibility and you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which handles enquiries about discrimination in the UK.

7. How this site was tested

The site has been tested during development using keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom, and automated accessibility checks, across desktop and mobile screen sizes. Testing is ongoing rather than a one-off exercise.
